Our mission at Gallatin Montessori School is to build an educational community in which parents and teachers develop a collaborative partnership that will foster a child's growth and development. If a child's first learning experience is positive and exciting, it builds a foundation for life-long learning, making a difference in their lives and the lives of their families.

Angela Austin, Head of School

Angela is the founder and Head of School at Gallatin Montessori School in beautiful Belgrade, Montana. She began her Montessori journey in 2012 and opened Gallatin Montessori School in 2013.  She is a certified Montessori Teacher for 3-6 year olds through the North American Montessori Center and has completed continuing education through the Montessori Foundation. In addition to a teaching certification, she holds an associates degree in Business Management. 
The education of even a small child, therefore, does not aim at preparing him for school, but for life - Maria Montessori
