Our mission at Gallatin Montessori School is to build an educational community in which parents and teachers develop a collaborative partnership that will foster a child's growth and development. If a child's first learning experience is positive and exciting, it builds a foundation for life-long learning, making a difference in their lives and the lives of their families. Meet Angela Founder & Head of School – Gallatin Montessori School Angela is the Founder and Head of School at Gallatin Montessori, where her passion for nurturing young minds is at the core of everything she does. Inspired by the Montessori philosophy, she began her journey in 2012 and opened Gallatin Montessori just one year later, creating a space where children are encouraged to explore, grow, and thrive. Angela is a certified Montessori teacher for children ages 3–6 through the North American Montessori Center (NAMC) and continues her professional development through the Montessori Foundation. Her deep understanding of child development, combined with over a decade of hands-on experience, shapes the warm, engaging environment that defines Gallatin Montessori. With a background in Business Management, Angela not only leads the school with heart, but also with a strong foundation in organization, planning, and care for the community as a whole. At Gallatin Montessori, Angela is more than an educator—she’s a mentor, a guide, and a dedicated partner in your child’s early learning journey.
We must look to the children as a vehicle for bringing change to humanity. -Maria Montessori
